Lecture Coach is a private lecture-sharing and revision site. This policy explains what information the service collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

Information We Collect

We collect your email address and basic account information when you sign in. We also store lecture-related activity such as watch usage, questions you submit, AI responses, and timestamps tied to those questions.

Lecture Content

Lecture videos, transcripts, summaries, and related metadata are stored so the service can provide playback, transcription, search, and study assistance features.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to authenticate users, control access levels, stream lecture content, generate transcripts and summaries, answer study questions, enforce usage limits for viewer accounts, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Third-Party Services

Lecture Coach relies on third-party providers to operate. These currently include Supabase for authentication and database services, OpenAI for transcription and AI question answering, Cloudflare R2 for video storage, and Vercel for hosting and delivery.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers required to run the product and only to the extent needed for hosting, storage, authentication, and AI processing.

Data Retention

Account records, lecture files, transcripts, and chat history may be retained for as long as needed to operate the service, unless they are deleted by the service operator or removed as part of system maintenance.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect stored data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

If you do not want your data processed through this service, do not use Lecture Coach. Requests to remove account or lecture-related data should be directed to the service operator.
